For the Coastal Flood Warning, significant coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...In Louisiana, West Cameron and East Cameron Parishes. In Texas, Lower Jefferson County. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 5 PM CDT this afternoon. For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 5 AM to 5 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be 2.0 to 2.25 feet above astronomical predicted levels, mainly during the times of high tide from daybreak through late Sunday morning. This will allow actual tide levels to reach between 1.75 to 2.5 feet mean higher high water during the times of high tide. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
