Lake Wind Advisory issued June 2 at 1:02PM PDT until June 3 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Reno NV * WHAT...West winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph and waves up to 3 feet on Pyramid Lake. * WHERE...Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake, Rye Patch and Lahontan reservoirs. * WHEN...From 1 PM to 8 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve. Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.
