Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM... * Until 1145 AM EDT. * At 1045 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 6 nm east of Hernando Beach to 17 nm west of Indian Rocks Beach to 40 nm west of Egmont Key, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, damage vessels, and create suddenly higher waves.
