Flood Watch issued May 13 at 5:04AM CDT until May 14 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following areas, Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia, Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal, Mobile Inland, Monroe, Washington and Wilcox, northwest Florida, including the following areas, Escambia Coastal, Escambia Inland, Okaloosa Coastal, Okaloosa Inland, Santa Rosa Coastal and Santa Rosa Inland, and southeast Mississippi, including the following areas, George, Greene, Perry, Stone and Wayne. * WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across southeast Mississippi, southwest and south central Alabama, and the western Florida panhandle from early Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon. Widespread rainfall amounts between 3 and 6 inches with locally higher totals over 8 inches will be possible. West Central Escambia County in northwestern Florida... * Until 115 PM CDT. * At 1006 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Daphne, Fairhope, Spanish Fort, Robertsdale, Point Clear, Loxley, Summerdale, Silverhill, Rosinton, Elsanor, Gateswood, Clay City, Steelwood, Marlow, Belforest, Pine Haven, Seminole, River Park, Malbis and Turkey Branch. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
